Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a custody calendar?

Select your preferred schedule type (50/50 alternating weeks, every other weekend, or custom), enter both parents' names, and the calendar automatically generates a color-coded monthly view. Use the arrows to navigate months and print when ready.

Can I customize which days belong to each parent?

Yes. Select the "Custom by Day" option to assign specific days of the week (Sun–Sat) to Parent A or Parent B. The calendar will apply that weekly pattern to every week of the month.

How do I print or download the custody calendar?

Click the "Print Calendar" or "Save as PDF" button at the bottom of the calendar. Your browser's print dialog will open — select "Save as PDF" as the destination to save a digital copy.

Does the calendar show parenting time percentages?

Yes. Below the calendar, you'll see the exact number of days and percentage of parenting time for each parent in the current month.

Can I use this for a legal custody agreement?

This tool is for planning and visualization purposes only. The generated calendar is not a legal document. For a legally binding parenting plan, consult a family law attorney.

What Parents Say

"I used to dread every text from my ex. Now I run it through ReplyCalmly first and respond with confidence instead of emotion.

Sarah M.

Divorced mother of 2

"The violation tracking feature alone is worth it. I uploaded my decree and within a week it had flagged 6 things I would've missed. It keeps me organized and confident I'm not letting anything slip.

James T.

Father navigating custody modification

"I was the emotional one. Every message got to me. This tool taught me what a calm response actually looks like and now it's second nature.
